The most wonderful time of the year!

We had a very nice Christmas.  Santa (Will) came to visit at the ward party and the kids loved it.  Some of the older kids new who it was, but the little kids ate it up.  Even Aunt Nenny and Aunt Jackee sat on his lap.

However, the our most anticipated Christmas gift is holding out on us.  We only have two weeks until our due date and we are getting more excited everyday.  We can hardly wait until he comes.  Jackee is getting so big that she has a hard time getting around and Will thinks it is funny to tease and harasse her, but he has been very good about helping out around the house.  We hope that you all had a very merry Christmas and may the new year bring you much joy and happiness!

Love, Jackee and Will

Thanksgiving at the Ranch

Holidays are always fun at the Ranch, especially when we work cattle...

Its always a family affair where everyone has a special job and everyone gets treated the same.

Willy got to rope this time.

Even the elders got to watch.

The kids didn't seem very excited about their job...
FEEDING THE COWS!

Funeral in Yorktown

Went down near Yorktown to a funeral and stopped by Great Granny Gaebler's House.

The funeral was at the Old Garfield Dancehall.

We all had a nice time.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I love Thanksgiving! I have so much to be thankful for.

Most especially my family.  I love them so much and am so excited for the little one to come!

Sometimes the best things in life are not things...

But the people and places that we love.

Sunday Ropin'

We try to set aside Sunday afternoons to do a little team roping.

This week the steers were a little hard to handle.

Glen was missing quite a few.

Even Cade got into the roping action.

Eating a s'more

Another day...

Last weekend we had a nice bomfire out at the ranch with Jessica and her gang. It was a lot of fun, everyone left a little early but I think that we all enjoyed it. Cade and Emily thought that the fire was a wonderful thing, they love roasting marshmallows too.

Last week was a killer, I guess the babe was going through a growth spurt or something because all I wanted to do was eat and sleep. The little guy is growing (as am I) but we are doing superb. He is moving around quite a bit and tends to be very active. I am almost 24 weeks along! I cant believe how time is flying. We are going to Utah next week to visit the family, we are ready for a vacation!

August 22, 2009

I thought that I would start a blog, Facebook is nice to keep in touch with everyone, but it is a little difficult to share a lot. Me and Will are about 19 weeks along in this wonderful journey through pregnancy. I am feeling very well and have quite a bit of energy. In a little over a week we are going to be able to find out what we are having and then the real work begins.

We have also decided to make a trip to Utah in October, so we can see our family up there.
